Trinkspiele
Come join us for an evening of fun and competition! The Trinkspiele will comprise a series of five games:
Boot Race — your team will compete to down Das Boot faster than your rivals.
Hammerschlagen — One member of your team must show his skills with nail and hammer.
Beerpupeteer — One member of your team will attempt to drink from a cup controlled by marionette lines.
Wurst Toss — Two members of your team must see how far you can toss a wurst between you without dropping or breaking it.
Quick Liter Carpentry — Your team will be tasked with assembling a piece of furniture under certain constraints.
We will allow a maximum of six teams to participate. Teams of four can register online. Register while there are still spots available!

CCC german beer and wurst tasting course
This course is offered through Central Community College.

The Frontier Frau is Nebraska's first lager-focused brewery and is inspired by centuries-old German beer halls. Amara Block's background is as an attorney but she currently works full time at The Frontier Frau, where she brews the beer. Amara fell in love with German beer over 10 years ago on a trip to Europe and started brewing her own. Participants will enjoy pairings of three different kinds of wurst made from quality ingredients and three uniquely brewed beers. Tasty and authentic sides will be included. Enjoy an original German experience.

Kerry Christensen - Yodeling Master
Kerry Christensen is not your typical yodeler. His concerts and events this year will take him to as many as 23 US states and two or three countries internationally. Kerry spent two years in the country of Austria right out of high school. There he became interested in the alpine yodeling art. After mastering this difficult medium he was asked in l983 to move his six member family to Orlando, Florida and use his yodeling skills at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. He performed there for almost eight years until 1990.
